The Crawfish place is a bar in Anahuac Texas. As of 2020, they are the only bar and grill in the town. People come far to visit this bar. So as it was requested, William T.J. Realty went and interviewed Marissa of the Crawfish place.
Whats this bar and grill about?
Here at The Crawfish Place, we are a small bar and grill that’s located in Anahuac, we are the only bar and grill in Anahuac. We have everything from boiled crawfish, seafood, crab, shrimp, steaks, and burgers. We were actually on TV for one of our famous burgers call the Pippin Burger. A lot of people come here for that. our food is good and our service is good we serve cold beer and wine.
What is the history of The Crawfish Place?
I’ve (Marisa) been here for four years and I can tell you how much this place has grown since I’ve been here. They open in August of 2013 it was a one building spot. It used to be half the size that it is now. Since then we’ve progressed, we’ve added more buildings front and back. We have an extra building for seating. Now our menu has increased front and back. We are busy 7 days a week every night and lunch is also busy here.
Where is the Crawfish place located?
We’re located in 5809 highway 61 in Anahuac Texas, 1.6 miles from I-10. It is very easy to get to.
Does The Crawfish place have any specials on food?
Monday through Friday we are always boiling Crawfish while it’s still in season, we serve after 5 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays we start at noon. Our daily specials are posted on Facebook. Every morning it’s a new special from gumbo, to tacos, to alligator, to tuna and more.
Is there Anything else on the menu of this bar & grill?
We serve burgers, steaks, chicken fried steaks, hamburger steaks, salad, wings, Pizza, any seafood, catfish, chicken tenders, shrimp, and then our boiling seafood.

We are here seven days a week our phones are open from about 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Anybody can always call. We also have our Facebook page, and we’re on Google.

It was a nice experience going to the Crawfish place. I thought it was going to be a small bar, but when I got there it was actually quite large. The people were friendly, and there was a lot of space. The staff was very knowledgeable about what they had to offer in the food looked really good.
